About the role

The Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) seeks an intermittent emergency medicine physician to join their team in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult and pediatric emergency room patients in a 40 bed emergency department.
• Manage approximately 59,000 visits per year.
• Lead a collegial team of ER Physicians and PA’s.

Requirements

• Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved residency in emergency medicine.
• Board certified in emergency medicine.
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.

Schedule

• Intermittent, combination of approximately 75% daytime shifts (0600-2200) and 25% nocturnal shifts (2200-0600).
