About the role

Join AtlantiCare as the Division Director/Program Director of General Surgery - Vision 2030. As the Division Director of General Surgery, you will lead your surgical program to be aligned with our Vision 2030 goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a new General Surgery Residency Program.
  • Collaborate with the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) to guide program initiation and accreditation.
  • Support the new residency program with two Associate Program Directors and dedicated administrative personnel.
  • Integrate the new residency program seamlessly with the institution’s established graduate medical education programs.
  • Advance the mission of excellence in surgical training and education.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have prior experience in medical education leadership within general surgery.

Qualifications

  • Board-certification in General Surgery.
  • Experience in medical education leadership.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
