Position Overview
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE physiatrist for an outpatient position with unlimited potential for growth. The ideal candidate would have experience and be proficient in prosthetic, orthotics, assistive device prescription as well as evaluation of musculoskeletal conditions and gait analysis. Academic rank and track are commensurate with academic record and experience.

Outpatient services are provided at the west campus Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care Center. The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department is ranked #1 in Columbus and #37 nationally by U.S. News & World Report. Newsweek has ranked Ohio State Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital as #1 in Ohio. Additionally, the residency program is ranked 24th through Doximity Residency Navigator.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Medical Director of the outpatient limb loss service line, collaborating with the outpatient limb loss therapy team and the Military Medicine plastic surgery team.
- Fulfill faculty responsibilities consistent with the tripartite mission: patient care, education, and clinical research.
- Contribute to training, research, and other scholarly pursuits.
- Represent the program or department by participating in committees, conferences, and professional meetings.
- Adhere to established Medical Center policies, procedures, and protocols.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Successful completion of an accredited PM&R Residency Program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R.
- Eligible for an Ohio Medical License.
