PHYSICIAN - DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH - OAHU

The immediate vacancies are located at the Lanakila Health Center in Kalihi and at Kinau Hale in Downtown.

Duties

• Diagnoses and treats medical illnesses, diseases and disorders of the human body.
• Renders professional medical services covering a variety of medical problems in patients of all ages.
• Renders professional medical services in a specialized field of medicine.
• In addition to rendering professional medical services, positions may also direct medical and auxiliary services such as laboratory, dental, nursing, etc.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Legal Authorization To Work: Must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
• Licenses: Valid, unrestricted medical license in a state or territory of the United States. A valid license or limited and temporary license to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of Hawai‘i may be required.
• Experience: Work experience as a physician. Experience in a specialized field of medicine may be required.
