Responsibilities

• Oversight of the coding process for physician services, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims
• Development and implementation of coding policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Conducting regular audits to identify and correct coding errors, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future errors
• Collaboration with healthcare providers and coders to ensure accurate and complete coding of medical services
• Staying up-to-date with changes in coding regulations and industry standards, and applying this knowledge to improve coding processes and outcomes
• Participation in quality improvement initiatives to improve coding accuracy and efficiency
• Providing educational training and support to coders and healthcare providers on coding policies and procedures

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in outpatient coding or billing management, with a focus on CPT and ICD-10 coding
• CPC credential is required
• Strong knowledge of coding regulations, including HIPAA and CMS guidelines
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
