Description

MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for their practice located in their Augusta and Waterville, Maine locations. Selected candidates will join a growing team of over 70 cardiologists who provide inpatient, outpatient and consultative services.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certification/Board Eligible

Nationally Recognized Inpatient Cardiovascular Service Line

Nationally recognized inpatient cardiovascular service line at Maine Medical Center, which serves as the hub for the extended MaineHealth network. Provides patients across the state with the highest quality cardiac care, working closely with other regional hospitals to build a coordinated network of cardiology services.

Integrated Practice

The integrated practice includes MaineGeneral Health, Maine’s third largest health care system. The Alfond Center for Health, MaineGeneral Medical Center’s state-of-the-art, 192-bed regional hospital, has a diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab and full on-site imaging, including echocardiography and nuclear testing.
