The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is a large agency responsible for various health and human services. Central Regional Hospital (CRH) is one of the facilities under its jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
- Assure optimum patient care and medical management of patients at Central Regional Hospital
- Thorough knowledge of general, preventive medicine and medical specialties
- Treatment and diagnosis of a variety of diseases and injuries
- Interpretation of laboratory results and clinical data

- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Preferred skills include:
- Knowledge of medical specialties
- Treatment and diagnosis of diseases
- Interpretation of laboratory results

Benefits
This position is exempt and must report or stay over during adverse weather events. Eligibility for the Sign-on Bonus requires working 30 to 40 hours per week and meeting certain criteria. The position is part of the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement.
Pay
The salary range is $147,932.00 - $295,863.00. A sign-on bonus of $20,000 may be offered contingent on budget approval.
Schedule
The normal working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with rotating call. Flexibility is required to meet hospital needs.

Central Regional Hospital (CRH) is a state-of-the-art psychiatric hospital located in Butner, NC. The facility is near the N.C. mountains and beaches, and the team is critical to the mission of the hospital.
