OD Physician - Central State Hospital

Responsibilities

• Takes referrals from outside hospitals
• Admits patients
• Performs physical examinations
• Diagnoses and treats medical conditions of patients
• Provides follow-up care for medical conditions of patients
• Attends to emergency needs throughout the hospital while on-call

Requirements

• Completed Medical School
• Holds a valid Kentucky Medical License
• Holds an active DEA license
• Experience in adult psychiatry
• Completed a minimum of two years in an approved psychiatric residency program
