Position Overview

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible cardiac inflammation physician/physician-scientist with an extramurally funded clinical or translational research program to join an elite team of academic physicians at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank. The successful candidate will focus on leading the Cardiac Inflammation Program building research across cardiovascular disease disciplines, focusing on both routine and complex cardiovascular care, including inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services in a world-class facility at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Certified
  • Successful completion of a US-accredited cardiology fellowship
  • Eligible for an Ohio License
  • Clinical or Translational Extramurally funded research preferred
  • Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience

Qualifications

  • Completed MD, DO, PhD or other terminal degree in relevant field
  • Experience in leading a research program in cardiac inflammation
  • Ability to deliver exemplary clinical care, teach, and/or conduct research

Pay

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience.
