Physician Cardiology

About the role

The position involves a structured schedule of 32 clinical hours and 8 administrative hours per week, Monday through Friday. It is a hospital-employed, nonprofit critical access hospital with a new cardiology service line offering a blend of outpatient practice, inpatient consults, and diagnostic interpretation. The opportunity includes echocardiographic and nuclear stress test interpretation, and there are opportunities for committee involvement and organizational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with patients and colleagues
• Interpret echocardiographic and nuclear stress tests
• Provide inpatient consults and diagnostic interpretation
• Participate in committee activities and organizational leadership

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiology

Qualifications

• Experience in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Schedule
