Physician - Cardiac Anesthesiology
About the Role
We are seeking Board Eligible or Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologists to provide specialized anesthesia services for heart cases, including cardiovascular procedures. Optional TEE certification is a plus. The role involves performing approximately 50 heart cases annually, primarily non-fellowship cases, with opportunities for regional coverage at two hospitals.
You will manage anesthesia for a diverse range of surgeries, including general, outpatient, urology, orthopedic, and high-risk OB cases, within a supportive team of CRNAs, AAs, and MDs.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for cardiac and cardiovascular procedures, with optional TEE certification.
- Perform approximately 50 heart cases per year, primarily non-fellowship cases.
- Provide regional anesthesia coverage at two hospitals.
- Manage anesthesia for general, outpatient, urology, orthopedic, and high-risk OB surgeries.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of CRNAs, AAs, and MDs.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Certified in Cardiac Anesthesiology.
- Experience in cardiovascular procedures.
- Eligible for or holds a South Carolina medical license.
- Experience in cardiac anesthesia (CV experience).
Schedule
Balanced schedule with two weeks on, two weeks off, and low-acuity call. Flexible partial FTE options are available to promote work-life balance.
Pay
Compensation ranges from $275,000 to $900,000, with potential profit sharing, partnership benefits, and a K-1 pay structure.
