Physician - Cardiac Anesthesiologist

About the role

We are seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a growing anesthesia team. The position is based at a critical access hospital and outpatient surgery center, utilizing Epic EMR, with a case mix that includes general surgery, orthopedics, neuro, obstetrics, and more. The team comprises 11 anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs, supporting a broad scope of services. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a community-rich setting with access to outdoor recreation and city amenities.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services across various surgical specialties, with a primary focus on cardiac cases such as open hearts, TAVRs, and thoracic procedures.
• Perform medical direction and solo case management.
• Participate in a call rotation with a 1:5 frequency.
• Deliver anesthesia in multiple operating rooms.
• Manage perioperative patient care.
• Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Medical degree required.
• Fellowship training or TEE certification preferred but not required.
• Ideal candidates are recent graduates or experienced practitioners comfortable in a collaborative
