Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

About the role

MaineHealth Cardiology – Rockport is seeking an experienced, patient‑centered, respectful, flexible, and detail‑oriented Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing cardiology practice. You will join a team of 7 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider in a full‑time, 40‑hour/week position. The role consists predominantly of outpatient clinical duties with some inpatient coverage, and time will be split between the Rockport and Belfast practice locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical care (primary focus)
• Perform inpatient coverage as needed
• Split work time between the Rockport and Belfast practice sites

Qualifications

• Current nursing license issued by the State of Maine or eligibility for licensure
• Successful completion of an approved Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• BSN required; MSN preferred
• Minimum three years of professional nursing experience
• Two years of Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant experience preferred but not required
• Current BLS certification

Pay

The pay range for this position is $120,734 to $156,244 annually, based on the candidate’s level of experience.

Schedule

Full‑time position requiring 40 hours per week.
