Physician Associate Medical Director Hospice

Responsibilities

• Assist with IDG meetings and rotational on call
• Hospital or home consultations for acute patient clinical problems
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for palliative care
• Evaluate, certify, and recertify terminal prognosis
• Conduct educational seminars and presentations
• Member of the Professional Advisory Committee

Qualifications

• Doctor of medicine or osteopathy degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in hospice and palliative care preferred but not required
• Experienced in hospice and palliative care
• Current and unencumbered license to practice in your state
• Membership in good standing on the medical staff of at least one contracted hospital
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

Approximately 10 - 15 hours per month
