Responsibilities
- Assist with IDG meetings and rotational on call
- Hospital or home consultations for acute patient clinical problems
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for palliative care
- Evaluate, certify, and recertify terminal prognosis
- Conduct educational seminars and presentations
- Member of the Professional Advisory Committee
Qualifications
- Doctor of medicine or osteopathy degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in hospice and palliative care preferred but not required
- Experienced in hospice and palliative care
- Current and unencumbered license to practice in your state
- Membership in good standing on the medical staff of at least one contracted hospital
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay
Compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Approximately 10 - 15 hours per month
