About the role
This is a full-time hybrid (35 hrs inpatient/5 hrs outpatient) position.
Responsibilities
- Pre and post-operative care
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- First-assisting in the operating room
- On-call rotation
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (RNFA Certification is required, as well) or Physician Associate program
- Experience in General Surgery is desired
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
- BLS certification is required
Qualifications
RNFA certification is required for Acute Care Nurse Practitioner candidates.
