About The Role
Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics - OrthoExpress is seeking a part-time Physician Assistant to join their team. This position will float to Medford, Moorestown, and Hammonton. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians across multiple orthopedic subspecialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide independent evaluation of patients, interpretation of imaging and laboratory studies, formulation of therapeutic and diagnostic plans, and referrals to other specialists and/or physical therapy.
- Evaluate a wide range of conditions, including sprains, strains, fractures, and immediate postoperative concerns.
- Perform procedures such as injections of knees and shoulders, and apply durable medical equipment (DME).
- Treat a high volume of patients while maintaining high quality of care.
Qualifications
- 3 years minimum experience in Orthopedics and/or Orthopedic Urgent Care required; Emergency Room experience a plus.
- Current NJ Medical License, CDS, DEA and appropriate Certifications.
- Prior EMR experience required; Epic experience preferred.
Compensation
In compliance with New Jersey pay transparency laws, all clinician roles include a posted minimum base salary. This role offers a base starting salary at $65,625.00. Final compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and prevailing market factors.
