Physician Assistant - Orthopedics

About the Role

A Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in musculoskeletal care within an orthopedic practice, collaborating with orthopedic surgeons to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Manage post-operative and post-procedure care
• Provide patient education and pain management
• Perform wound care and assist with surgical decision-making
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with policies
• Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions
• Manage treatments, including medications, injections, and physical therapy
• Coordinate patient care and maintain a positive team environment

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current licensure in Ohio
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and post-op care (preferred)

Pay

USD $85,000 to $150,000 annually.
