About the Role
A Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in musculoskeletal care within an orthopedic practice, collaborating with orthopedic surgeons to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Manage post-operative and post-procedure care
- Provide patient education and pain management
- Perform wound care and assist with surgical decision-making
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with policies
- Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions
- Manage treatments, including medications, injections, and physical therapy
- Coordinate patient care and maintain a positive team environment
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current licensure in Ohio
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and post-op care (preferred)
Pay
USD $85,000 to $150,000 annually.
