Physician Assistant - Urgent Care (Part-Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant to manage acute walk-in urgent cases and minor procedures. Procedures include, but are not limited to, suturing, fracture care/splinting, I&Ds, etc. Our clinic also offers on-site imaging and lab draws.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients presenting with acute symptoms
• Perform minor surgical procedures under supervision
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Maryland
• Experience in urgent care settings preferred
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
• Completion of an approved Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination

• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Strong organizational and time management skills
