Part Time Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA)

About the Role

CRH Healthcare owns and operates urgent care centers across three regions, each delivering the same quality-focused patient experience. This position is for a Part Time Urgent Care Physician Assistant at the Solomons, Maryland location, with a Monday - Friday schedule of 6-hour shifts and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

What You Will Do

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk-ins and same-day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up
• Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting and related treatments
• Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual
• Evaluate patients for workers' compensation injuries

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in providing patient care as a Physician Assistant is required
• Master's degree (Physician Assistant) and appropriate state license required
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens, and related compliance standards
• Detail-oriented and confident in medical best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Competence with common PC applications, Microsoft Office and EMR applications
• Experience with occupational health practices including DOT qualification, drug testing protocols, and physicals
• Respect and autonomy in decision-making
• Team-based approach to patient care
• ACLS / BLS certifications (We will provide this if needed)

Schedule

• Monday - Friday (6 Hour Shifts)
• Flexible work schedules set 3 months in advance, no on-call, and limited weekends
• Clinics are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and Easter with early closing on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and 4th of July

• Hourly Rate or Salary Range: Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Physician Assistant (PA): $55.00 - $84.00 per hour
