The Phyllis Jen Center is a large academic primary care practice located on the main campus of Brigham and Women's Hospital. The clinic is home to 40 attending primary care physicians, 70 resident primary care physicians, and approximately 22,000 adult patients. The practice also includes 7 full-time physician assistants serving in a variety of clinical roles. In addition to comprehensive primary care, the clinic is supported by faculty urgent care physicians, Harvard faculty preceptors, multiple full-time embedded social workers, and embedded consulting specialists in endocrinology, psychiatry, geriatrics, pain management, and addiction medicine. This collaborative, multidisciplinary environment is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while advancing medical education and clinical excellence.

About the Role

The Physician Assistant in this resident co-management role partners with a team of approximately 20–25 internal medicine resident physicians to provide comprehensive, longitudinal primary care for a shared adult patient population. Working collaboratively with resident physicians throughout their three-year residency training, the PA helps ensure continuity of care while providing chronic disease management, preventive care, and timely access for acute care needs.
