Physician Assistant - Part-time - Trauma - Baptist Med Ctr

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily inpatient rounds and multidisciplinary care coordination.
• Assists surgeons in the operating room across a variety of surgical procedures.
• Manages postoperative and trauma follow-up care in the outpatient clinic setting.
• Serves as a key liaison among patients, families, consulting providers, and ancillary departments to support optimal communication and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Oklahoma.
• Requires current BLS certification.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• ISMN Neurosurgical Dept Only: 1 year of experience in surgery setting preferred.
• Emergency Department Only: 1 year of experience in a comprehensive emergency department setting preferred.
• NZTI only: Current ACLS certification if working with adults required in acute care environments.
• Current PALS certification if working with children required in acute care environments.
