Physician Assistant (PA)-Sports Medicine and Foot and Ankle at ValleyOrtho

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage musculoskeletal conditions
• Provide pre-operative education
• Cook up post-operative follow-up care
• Perform in-office procedures within scope of practice
• Assist in the Operating room for sports medicine cases based on flip days roughly once a month
• Triage and respond to clinical questions and patient messages
• Cook up care with therapy, imaging, and other ancillary services
• Transition appropriate visits from surgeons to APP care
• Deliver efficient, high-quality documentation in Epic
• Participate in care standardization and best-practice workflows
• Cook up with clinic staff to ensure a strong patient experience

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Current Colorado Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Unrestricted DEA license
• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications through the American Heart Association
• First Assist Experience is preferred

SALARY RANGE $109,366.40 to $164,049.60/salaried Starting wage dependent upon experience, education, and skill-set
