Responsibilities
This clinician will be responsible for the medical care of our hospitalized patients at Emplify Health by Gundersen Tri County Hospital and Clinics. Responsibilities will include admission H&P, daily evaluation, diagnostic and treatment decisions, discharge planning and documentation, and working with the interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and social workers.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Experience in Hospital Medicine preferred
- Telemedicine experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in PA or NP
- Passing scores on relevant national certification exams
- Current DEA license

Schedule
- Daytime 8-hour shift
- Full-time work schedule: 7 days on, followed by 7 days off
- Physician telehospitalist coverage provided by an internal medicine hospitalist team
- Average daily census: 14-18 patients with acute care and post-acute care status
