About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established, clinician-led team at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
- Collaborative Care Model: Join a tight-knit, established team of four daytime physicians and two daytime APPs, offering a supportive environment for professional growth.
- Lead Patient-Centered Care: Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, ensuring every individual receives a clear path toward recovery and long-term wellness.
- Manage the Clinical Journey: Drive the full continuum of care—from initial assessment and diagnostic interpretation to preventative screenings—to identify health risks early.
- Create Collaborative Treatment Plans: Coordinate seamlessly with physician partners and a robust network of specialists, ensuring patients never navigate their health journey alone.
- Empower Patients & Families: Use proactive education and counseling to give patients the tools and confidence to manage their health effectively outside the hospital.
- Document Excellence: Capture the patient story with precision and care, maintaining high-quality records that serve as a reliable roadmap for the entire care team.

Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital is a premier 350-bed facility in Appleton, recently enhanced by a state-of-the-art 90-bed patient tower. As a Level III Trauma Center and Certified Stroke and Chest Pain Center, the hospital serves as a regional anchor for high-acuity care. Our Hospitalist team is backed by a deeply supportive nursing and administrative staff, all working within a newly renovated, modern clinical environment.

Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
- Master's degree of Nursing required.

Pay
Start Bonus: $5,000 | CME Allowance: $2,000
