Responsibilities
- Perform fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided arthrograms (large joints, e.g., knees, hips, shoulders)
- Perform ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) of thyroid nodules
- Assist in the management of contrast reactions
- Prescribe pre-procedure medications as appropriate
- Cover pre- and post-procedure patient screening and assessment
- Cover scheduling of outpatient imaging/procedures and assist with post-procedure follow-up
- Conduct telehealth consultations for outpatient interventional radiology procedures (OBL setting)
- Conduct telehealth follow-up visits
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA certification required
- Active New Jersey PA license
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment with a calm, professional, and patient-centered demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in radiology, interventional radiology, or procedural-based specialties
- Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures and/or fluoroscopy
- Comfort with outpatient workflows and coordination of care
- Strong communication skills, including telehealth experience
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with radiologists and clinical staff

Pay
From $140,000 Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, qualifications, education and operational needs.
