Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care - Fort Collins
About the role
The Mason Primary Care Clinic in Fort Collins, Colorado, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their team. This role combines indirect patient care with same-day patient care services, offering a unique blend of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Responding to patient messages with evidence-based clinical guidance
- Ordering labs and diagnostic tests
- Managing prescription refill requests
- Facilitating specialty referrals
- Enhancing communication and patient engagement through secure messaging
- Serving as a point person for same-day acute care patients
Requirements
- 2-3 years of Family Medicine experience, seeing patients of all ages
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Master's degree in Nursing with a focus in Family Nurse Practitioner
- Unrestricted license to practice as a PA or NP in the State of Colorado
- Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the ANCC or AANPCB
- Full prescriptive authority
- Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice
- Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid
- Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from HHS/OIG or GSA's List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs
- Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice or compact privileges under the multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement
- Full prescriptive authority
- Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice
- Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid
- Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from HHS/OIG or GSA's List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross

Pay
The pay range for this full-time position is $110,577 - $144,966 annually. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. A productivity incentive may be offered for this position.
Schedule
This is a full-time position that supports work-life balance: Flexible weekly schedule of four 10-hour days. Weekdays only. No call requirements.
