About the role

The UCHealth Medical Group and the UCHealth Denver Metro Primary Care team are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to fill a float position. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, interested in full-time work, and focused on delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care services to patients in a variety of settings.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of family medicine/primary care experience required.
  • Experience seeing pediatrics preferred.
  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Master's in Nursing with NP certification.
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Colorado.
  • Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility required for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Qualifications

  • Physician Assistant: Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice, and unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.
  • Nurse Practitioner: Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice or compact privileges under the multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement, and unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.

  • Strong clinical skills and patient care orientation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in using Epic EMR system.

Pay & Schedule

The pay range for this full-time position is $110,577 - $144,966 annually. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified.
