Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist - Healdton, OK

About the role

This position offers an In-Patient role as a Hospitalist Advanced Practitioner within the Mercy healthcare system in Healdton, OK.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of attending physicians.
• Manage hospital admissions, coordinate care, and ensure continuity of patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

Requirements

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification from an approved body.
• Current licensure to practice as an APRN in the state of Oklahoma.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in hospital settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, particularly Epic.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Skills

• Proficiency in clinical decision-making and patient assessment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
