About the Opportunity

Augusta Health is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their expanding Cardiology Department located in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley. As a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will thrive in their outpatient clinic and state-of-the-art endoscopy suite.

Practice Highlights

• Practice Setting: Cardiology

• Schedule: Enjoy a 4/10 work week for better work-life balance

• Procedures: Clinic, In-patient and procedure support. Pre/Post cardiovascular management. In-patient, clinic, buckets, calls, telehealth, expansion to offsite clinic. Harrisonburg/Lexington

• Call: 1 in 7-9 weeks

• Current Staff: 5 MD’s, 1 EP, 9 APPS, Office Coordinator, Lead RN, Nurse Navigator, CMA/LPN, AA’s

• Clinical Volume: 16-20 visits daily once fully trained

• Collaboration: Strong collaboration between MD’s and APP’s. Mentorship and strong relationships with other specialties

Qualifications

• Licensed PA or NP in Virginia

• ACLS/BLS

• 2 years experience preferred

• Cardiology experience preferred

• Strong interest in delivering state-of-the-art care in community settings

Pay

• Starting Salary $134,786

• Sign-On: $5,000

• Relocation: $5,000 (receipt based)

• CME: $2,100
