About the Role

We are seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners. New graduates are welcome to apply. Current national certification, DEA, and ACLS are required. Candidates interested in working in an academic setting with current residents are desired. A current California state license is a plus.

Kaweah Health Medical Center – Visalia, California

  • 250-bed facility and Level III Trauma Center
  • STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Center
  • 74-bed Emergency Department with 98,000 annual visits
  • 24/7 case management, social work, and in-house interpreters
  • Operates an ACGME accredited 3-year EM residency with 18 residents per year
  • ACGME accredited Sim/US/education/admin EM fellowships
  • AP fellowship program with rolling admission, accepting up to 4 AP fellows per year
