About the role

This role involves providing emergency medical care to Sollis Health patients in clinics and conducting home visits. The position requires supervision by an attending physician and is part of a growing organization offering seamless care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform medical evaluations and formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans within the scope of emergency medicine.
  • Manage high-level medical conditions such as atrial fibrillation, tachycardia, congestive heart failure, and acute abdominal pain.
  • Conduct medical procedures including IV access, fluid and medication administration, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, POC testing, and EKGs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care and adhere to policies.
  • Assess and treat Covid-related cases, including sample collection, POC testing, and symptom management.
  • Ensure comprehensive clinical charting and communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians.
  • Coordinate additional care with Care Coordination and house calls teams or Medical Partners.
  • Participate in operational projects and ensure a smooth handover of pending labs or imaging to clinic providers.
  • Perform related duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, required.
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program, required.
  • Florida state license and ability to practice as a PA or NP, required.
  • DEA license required upon hire.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required upon hire.
  • House call, EMS/pre-hospital, concierge experience a plus.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in emergency departments and/or urgent care centers preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Athena Health, Salesforce, and others.
  • Strong technical skills, including phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, and medication administration.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Comfortable working with high-end clientele and excellent interpersonal skills.
