Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Critical Care PASNAP

Job Duties

• Work 14 shifts/month
• Mix of days/nights
• 12-hour shifts from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
• Serve in a collaborative role with the physician and staff in assessing needs, planning and providing education and care, evaluating outcomes, and coordinating follow-up and referrals for patients
• Function as a patient advocate in the medical care system as confidant, advisor and liaison between patients, families and physicians
• Moonlighting available for extra income

The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area is close to various recreational attractions like Kalahari resorts & conventions, Hershey Park and Hotel Hershey, Camelback Resort & Great Wolf Resorts. Enjoy some of Pennsylvania’s best hunting, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking. Driving distance to New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC & Baltimore. Avoca International Airport within 15 minutes provides endless travel possibilities.

Education

Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required), Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)

Certification(s) and License(s)

• Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
• Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
