Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

About the role

This position offers a short-term contract opportunity for a healthcare professional to provide family medicine care in an underserved community setting. Located in Trenton, NJ, the role involves working Monday through Friday with a half-day Saturday rotation every six weeks. The provider will be part of a team-based model, managing a patient volume of 18-20 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient volume of 18-20 patients per day
• Work within a team-based model
• Provide care in an underserved community setting
• Rotate weekends every six weeks
• Handle adult and pediatric panels
• Perform basic women's health procedures
• Adapt quickly to a team-based environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Experience in Community Health or FQHC
• Spanish bilingual (preferred)
• Existing Medicaid, Medicare, and MCO credentialing (required or strongly preferred)
• Comfortable with adult and pediatric panels
• Active NJ Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
• NCCPA certification (PA) or NP board certification (AANP or ANCC)
• Current CDS and DEA certifications

• Current CDS and DEA certifications
