Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for employers regarding all new injuries and significant clinical changes.
  • Ensures day-to-day execution of medical model by collaborating with therapists and specialists to achieve optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
  • Maintains and monitors key clinical center metrics related to quality outcomes, ensuring compliance with state practice acts and regulations.
  • Manages clinicians and support staff, adhering to supervisory requirements and promoting a professional and collaborative work environment.
  • Uses clinical systems efficiently to ensure excellent documentation, appropriate coding, charge capture, and follow-through on patient care orders.
  • Works with DMO to identify and implement changes for continuous clinical improvement and drives patient and client experience metrics.
  • Communicates with center clients and payers, responding to their requests within 24 hours and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Manages clinical and support staffing levels and proficiencies to enhance patient satisfaction, workflows, and efficiencies.
  • Promotes Orange Book values and fosters a culture of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition.
  • Develops and supports the talent life cycle for staff clinicians and support staff within the center.

Qualifications

  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Procedural skills preferred, but training provided for occupational medicine.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience, with occupational medicine experience preferred.
  • Additional data training provided in the best-in-class Occupational Medicine Process Management Model.

  • Base compensation rate in the range of $155,000.00 - $185,000.00 plus shift stipend, base salary depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law.
