About the role
Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY — 75 minutes north of New York City — is seeking a Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the trauma surgery team. The medical center is a 350‑bed tertiary care hospital providing leading acute and critical emergency care in the region, with a recently added Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology. Established centers of excellence include cardiac services (consistently ranked among the strongest in the U.S. and a Top 100 Heart Hospital by Modern Healthcare Magazine), cancer care, and women’s and children’s health services.

- Board certification required
- Experience in Trauma or Critical Care
