About the Role
This role involves providing inpatient care as part of an academic hospitalist program. Responsibilities include taking complex patient histories, performing physical exams, ordering diagnostics, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians.
Responsibilities
- Order and supervise tests and blood products
- Participate in continuing medical education
- Assist with research data collection
- Interact with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in special projects and committee functions
- Ensure compliance with patient safety and vaccination policies
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Utah
- Certification in RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
