Physician Assistant - Hospitalist Day (Part-Time)

Education

BS from an AMA accredited Physician Assistant Program.

Experience

At least one year experience in a medical office setting preferred. Other clinical arenas may be considered for substitution.

Licensure/Certification

• MMG - Licensed to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Maryland.
• Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.
• If a code cart is maintained in the practice, ACLS and PALS (if applicable) are required.
• Wound Center Physician Assistant requires ACLS, PALS, and BLS.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Fluency in coding, ICD-9 and CPT, or commitment to acquire.
• Computer access: Meditech (PCI), electronic health record (Allscripts) software, Internet, Intranet.
