Physician Assistant - General Surgery (casual) - Burnsville, MN
Job Overview
Fairview is seeking a Casual General Surgery Physician Assistant to join the General Surgery team at M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. This is a casual position and will work on an as needed basis to help cover leave of absences on the core team.
Surgical Patient Care
Care for a wide variety of conditions such as breast, colon, complex hernia, endocrine, and trauma in addition to general surgery. Inpatient care includes admissions and consults, daily rounding, operative assist, and discharge planning and education.
Operating Room Experience
Provide first assist in the operating room. Casual (as needed) scheduling. Day, evening, and overnight shifts. Additional weekend shift opportunities available.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant training program
- BC/BE through the NCCP
- Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
- Able to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
- Experience in a Surgical practice is required

Compensation
The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 1.0 FTE.
