General Surgery Physician Assistant (PA)

About the role

This position offers an opportunity to join an established group of General Surgeons practicing in a hospital-affiliated practice. The current surgeons perform a variety of general surgery procedures, GI procedures, and work in the Advanced Wound Care Center, which includes hyperbaric oxygen chambers. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment as a culture champion
• Impact patient care through involvement in various surgical procedures and advanced wound care services
• Work in a Level 3 trauma center setting
• Participate in a 10-day per month general call rotation

Requirements

• Well-established group
• Experience in general surgery preferred, but not required
• Access to 4 operating rooms and 2 GI procedure rooms at CVMC
• Opportunity to work in an outpatient surgery center with 4 operating rooms

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant
• Arizona medical license

Pay

Compensation package can include competitive base salary, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
