Join our team in Stockton or Modesto and receive a $50,000 hiring bonus plus up to an $8,000 annual float stipend. Monthly and quarterly bonus incentives are also available.

About the role

As a vital member of our patient care team at Concentra, you will provide exceptional care to patients while improving the health of America's workforce. You will operate under established medical protocols, offering primary medical direction and coordination within our occupational health program.

Clinic locations: Modesto, Ceres, Stockton East, Stockton West.

Responsibilities

  • Examine patients and compile medical data, including health history and physical examination results.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests.
  • Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
  • Instruct and counsel patients on compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in continuity of care.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and revising policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.
  • Contribute to the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers, incorporating Concentra’s values.
  • Ensure accuracy in completing tasks, executing quality assurance checks, and maintaining documentation.
  • Deliver compassionate and efficient patient care regardless of patient volume.
  • Manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs, including flexible scheduling or additional hours when necessary.
  • Seek opportunities for clinical training and self-development to maintain high-quality care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, clients, supervisors, and peers while adhering to Concentra’s values.
  • Hold self and others accountable, assist team members, and contribute to center operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.
  • Board Certification.
  • Occupational Medicine experience preferred; training provided for otherwise qualified candidates.
  • FMCSA NRCME certification required prior to start date (CME provided if not already certified).
  • DEA certification required prior to start date.
  • At least one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.
  • Procedural proficiency preferred (e.g., laceration repairs, suturing, foreign body removals).

Pay

This position offers a base compensation range of $175,000 to $195,000 annually, plus up to an $8,000 float stipend, depending on experience, geographic location, and seniority.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
