Physician Assistant - Cardiothoracic Surgery

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join a Thoracic team for temporary coverage. The role involves first assisting in the operating room and managing office patient visits. Candidates should have experience in thoracic (non-cardiac), minimally invasive procedures, and foregut and lung surgery.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient care such as rounding, admissions, and discharges
• Providing outpatient care and supporting surgical procedures

Requirements

• Current PA license and valid certifications
• Experience with first assisting in the OR
• Comfortable with inpatient and outpatient care
• Ability to see office patients
• Mandatory flu vaccination

Participation in call duties is unlikely.

Schedule

3-4 days per week with 10-hour shifts.
