About the role
Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant supporting a new adult cardiothoracic surgery program.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiothoracic surgeries
- Perform vein harvests
- Participate in program launch
- Support clinical team
- Help with procedures using the Getinge EVH System
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved PA program
- Board-certified physician assistant
- Ability to obtain VA medical and DEA licenses
- 2 to 5 years of assisting experience in CT surgery, including vein harvests (minimum 1 year)
- Strong clinical, communication skills, team-oriented, and innovative mindset
