Physician Assistant - Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery - Memphis, TN

About the role

Tenet Healthcare and the St. Francis Health System are seeking experienced Cardio Thoracic Surgical / Cardio Vascular Surgical Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners for our facility in Memphis, TN. The provider’s time will be spent in a healthy mixture of OR time and inpatient rounding to keep all aspects of skills sharp.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM. Shared overnight and weekend call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform operative procedures in the cardiac and vascular operating rooms.
• Conduct inpatient rounding to manage post‑operative patient care.
• Collaborate with high‑volume cardiologists and experienced surgeons.
• Utilize endoscopic vein harvesting techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program (for PA candidates).
• Current PA licensure; DEA eligibility.
• Experience in cardiovascular ICU preferred.
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience required.
• Additional certifications as required by governing board and facility medical staff bylaws.
