Physician Assistant
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) program.
Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.
Professional Experience Requirements
At least 2+ years as a Hematology/Oncology NP is required.
Prior experience in Hematology and/or oncology setting is preferred.
Job Duties And Expectations
See a variety of hematology and oncology patients, including managing a benign hematology caseload.
See pretreatment patients prior to chemotherapy treatments.
Complete all chemo education with patients prior to new or changing treatments.
Support the medical oncologist to see any patients that are having symptoms or concerns.
Review patient labs and test results to approve treatments.
