Physician Assistant

About the role

Join MainStreet Family Care as a Floating Physician Assistant covering multiple clinics in the Central/East Georgia region. You’ll deliver patient-focused urgent, primary, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor surgeries (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suture wounds and apply splints
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and manage conditions
• Review x-rays (over-read by a Radiologist)
• Address general dermatology, eye problems, and interpret EKGs
• Provide emergency management and general GYN care
• Treat children of all ages
• Deliver occupational medicine and telemedicine services

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required
• MSN or higher education required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Schedule

Shifts are determined two months in advance. Clinic hours vary by location:

• MainStreet Clinics: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet Clinics: Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.

Work hours may change based on company needs, training, or floater assignments.
