Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
• Suture wounds and splint injuries.
• Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
• Interpret x-rays under supervision of a radiologist.
• Treat general dermatological issues.
• Provide general eye care.
• Perform general EKG interpretations.
• Manage emergency situations.
• Treat gynecological concerns.
• Offer occupational medicine services.
• Conduct telemedicine consultations.

Qualifications

• Board Certification required.
• Master's in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required.
• New graduates are welcome and supported.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).

Schedule

• Open extended hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Rotating schedule with every other weekend.
