Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
• Suture wounds and splint injuries.
• Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
• Interpret x-rays under the supervision of a radiologist.
• Treat general dermatological issues.
• Assist with general eye problems.
• Perform general EKG interpretations.
• Manage emergency situations.
• Treat general gynecological expertise.
• Provide occupational medicine services.
• Offer telemedicine consultations.

Qualifications

• Board Certification required.
• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (company covers certification costs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is preferred.

We support our rural communities by providing care 362 days a year. Our clinics offer tuition reimbursement grants or student loan reimbursement grants to help with educational expenses.

Work Schedule

MainStreet Clinic Hours: Open 7-days-a-week: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend, sample below:

• Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON) and Sunday (ON).
• Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF) and Sunday (OFF).
