Responsibilities
- Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
- Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
- Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.
- Suture wounds and splint injuries.
- Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
- Review and interpret x-rays under supervision of a radiologist.
- Treat general dermatological conditions, eye problems, and perform general EKG interpretations.
- Manage emergency situations and provide emergency medical care.
- Treat children of all ages.
- Offer occupational medicine services.
- Provide telemedicine services.
Qualifications
- Board Certification required.
- Master's in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required (new graduates are welcome).
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (MainStreet covers the cost).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is preferred.
