Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.
• Suture wounds and splint injuries.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review and interpret x-rays under supervision of a radiologist.
• Treat general dermatological conditions, eye problems, and perform general EKG interpretations.
• Manage emergency situations and provide emergency medical care.
• Treat children of all ages.
• Offer occupational medicine services.
• Provide telemedicine services.

Qualifications

• Board Certification required.
• Master's in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required (new graduates are welcome).
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (MainStreet covers the cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is preferred.
