Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking Progressive and Entrepreneurial Full-Time Physician Assistants with Adult and Pediatric Experience to join our Welcoming and Diverse Community of Northwell Providers in our Nassau County Urgent Care Centers.

Responsibilities

• Treating all ages (6 months and older)
• Performing minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.)
• Reading EKGs and X-rays
• Assisting with patient care under the supervision of a physician
• Participating in ongoing professional development and education

Requirements

• 2 or more years of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting
• Comfortable with minor procedures and reading EKGs and X-rays

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of New York
• Passing score on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE)

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$68/hour - $89/hour (experience-based range)
