Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking progressive and entrepreneurial Full-Time Physician Assistants with adult and pediatric experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of Northwell providers in our Suffok County Urgent Care Centers!

Responsibilities

• Treating all ages (6 months and older)
• Performing minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.)
• Reading EKGs and X-rays
• Assisting with patient care under the supervision of a physician
• Participating in ongoing professional development and education

Requirements

• PA 2 or more years of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting
• Comfortable with minor procedures and reading EKGs and X-rays

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of New York
• Passing score on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) or Physician Assistant National Recertifying Examination (PARCE)
